In-Person LA Workshop

If you live in or near the Los Angeles, California area, my friend and colleague Saqib Rizvi and I would love to have you join us for a full-day in-person workshop taking place on Saturday, July 1, from 10:00am to 5:00pm. Follow the link here to learn more details and potentially to sign up.

The topic for the workshop is what we’re calling “truthfulness.” This could also be described as authenticity, or living honestly, and we both believe this is a central element of having an awakened, joyful, and present life. No matter how much meditation you do, how many books you’ve read, how much inner work you’ve done, when you don’t take the vulnerable step to express your inner truth externally, whether that be through facing conflict, taking a risk in your work, or putting yourself out there in a relationship, you won’t experience the fullness of what the inner practices can offer you.

In our day of truthfulness on July 1, we will explore the connection between inner truth and the outer expression of that truth. The combination of the inner and outer creates a deep sense of peace and harmony, though it may call for some uncomfortable disharmony initially. During our time together, we will do several group meditative and experiential practices, have some time to practice alone, and have plenty of time to connect in a casual, but very real, way. You might view this as an opportunity to step out of social norms, out of the roles you find yourself habitually playing, and step into something that simply feels True.

So, again, if you’re in or somewhat near the Los Angeles area (3732 Sunset Blvd) on July 1, we would love to spend some time with you to explore truthfulness, in this life that can often feel untrue.
